Rotating Sleeve |
The new rotating sleeve with auxiliary air intakes from Dürr Dental now provides a very effective means of preventing cross infection. This is a thumb-sized cylindrical connecting piece inserted between the suction cannula and the suction handpiece. |
- Only slight reduction in suction capacity (about 8 %)
- Minimum noise development
- No inadvertent covering of all air intakes
- Available as a rotating sleeve (grey/black) for Dürr handpieces and as a universal sleeve for other manufacturers’ handpieces
to combat reflux
A defined annular auxiliary airflow is drawn over four lateral grooves into the suction handpiece. Even with firm adhesion causing blocking of the cannula this device maintains an adequate airflow from the patient to the suction system (and not the other way round!). |
